Used on sites that need ongoing power including data centres, warehouses, offices or retail buildings. The power stays connected after your business is up and running.
Temporary
For use during construction. It powers tools, lighting, site sheds and other temporary needs before your main supply is ready.
Embedded
If your site will generate its own power using solar, batteries or other solutions including wind and gas, this option helps you stay connected and export extra power to the grid.

When you or your ASP submit your connection request, we’ll need a few key details to assess and plan your project. These help us understand your site and supply needs:
Site address and lot details:
Location, including lot and DP numbers for new developments
Electric load estimate:
Expected electricity use and major equipment (e.g. AC, lighting, machinery)
Single-line diagram and site plan:
Technical drawings for design and safety assessment (only required for moderate and complex jobs projects)

Contact details if you’ve appointed Accredited Service Providers

What happens after you apply
Once your application is submitted, we’ll guide it through the review and connection process. Here’s how it typically works:

Initial Review
We check your application to confirm all required documents are included and the request is clear.

Technical approval
For more complex jobs, our team will assess site plans and proposed designs to ensure they meet safety and network standards.

Fees and connection offer
We’ll issue a connection offer (Permission to Connect) that includes your estimated fees and scope of works.
4
Construction and energisation
Once the offer is accepted, work can begin. Your ASP will coordinate with us, where needed get your site powered up.
